Handbuilt House Pottery Workshop

In this relaxed and creative workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of slab building as you transform flat pieces of clay into a beautiful miniature house to treasure. Using simple handbuilding techniques, you'll shape, assemble and personalise your house before adding details such as windows, doors, chimney and surface decoration. Choose from a selection of decorative stamps and tissue transfers, or keep your design beautifully simple. Whether you create a cosy cottage, seaside home or whimsical little dwelling, every piece will be uniquely your own. No previous clay experience is needed. Sue will guide you through each step, making this workshop perfect for beginners as well as those looking to build on their handbuilding skills. Once complete, your house will be professionally glazed in a clear gloss glaze and kiln fired, ready for collection approximately 3–4 weeks after the workshop. Suitable for beginners and all experience levels
